Abstrack:
The purpose of the Republic of Indonesia is to protect the whole Indonesian nation, the entire homeland of Indonesia and the intellectual life of the nation. (Preambule of the Constitution State Republic of Indonesia Year 1945). The word “protecting” also means providing equal opportunity fair for men and women. General welfare will be achieved if women and men get the same and fair chance in the economic, social, cultural and political. One of the targets in the MDGs (Millennium Development Goals or MDGs) is gender equality and women’s empowerment. The main problems of this research are how the diverse roles of women in education work and empower others in various fields. This study uses a structural approach to culture and because both of these aspects that support women to actualize himself both as a woman and as an entrepreneur for the benefit of society. This study use female perspective with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research is conducted a qualitative research with in-depth interviews and observations. Meanwhile quantitative methods conducted by collecting the distribution of questionnaires, processing data based on research design using Path Analysis and analyzes comprehensively. The research is trying to dig women’s power of dreams, achieving success and beneficial to society, and to find out people’s views on the empowerment. It took one speakers who have dreams, comprehensive and simultaneous efforts to build a culture of learning through educational institutions, maternal health in particular, and empower women to be able to live independently and help provide for the family.
