KETIKA CERPEN-CERPEN FEMINA 2010 BERKISAH TENTANG DUNIA KULINER

Abstrack:

There is interesting phenomenon in rubric short story of Femina Magazine in early edition year of 2010. These beginning editions of main Indonesian women magazine are published short stories as a winner of short story writing competition last year (2009). There is some theme that relation by culinary or cooking in some short stories like in ?Ibu dan Hidangan Terakhir (Mother and Dessert)?, ?Lagu Sup Jagung (The Song of Corn Soup)?, or ?Kuliner (Culinary)?. Some short stories as a winner competition whose talk about culinary is not just are trend setter in Indonesian literature, but behind of this culinary theme in short stories sometimes had operated of the ideology or politics. The taste of cooking is a representative of multicultural that sometimes indicates there was postcolonialism practice. Why is Indonesia as the main country of coffee product in the world, must be consumer of coffee drinking a la Italian? Is Italian importer coffee seeds from the country like Indonesia? Looking for spices by European countries was the beginning of colonializations of eastern countries. The taste of culinary is a social construct; a style of taste could be internalized by some stories like in short stories rubric of Femina Magazine in early edition year of 2010.
